  • Remote Data Acquisition

    Acces I/O Products, Inc.

Sometimes your sensors or the piece of equipment you are trying to control is not in a convenient place to have a PC close by. The sensors may be widely distributed through out your plant and it just wouldn’t be cost effective to run all your wiring to where the PC is. In addition, low level signals are more accurately acquired when digitized close to the signal source. In all these cases our REMOTE ACCES line of products will help. The REMOTE ACCES pods are intelligent, sensor to computer interfaces. Each pod can be used as an autonomous data logger to acquire data for later download. Or as many as 31 pods may be connected on a single two wire multidrop RS-485 network allowing a cable distance of up to 4000 ft. You can also go wireless and extend your range by adding RS-485 wireless transceivers to your serial port. Each unit comes in a rugged NEMA 4 enclosure and can withstand harsh industrial and marine environments.

  • 1207a Multi Channel Auto Switch

    Precise Time and Frequency, Inc.

With intense competition and subscribers demanding ever more from service providers, quality and availability of service have never been more critical to maintaining and expanding your subscriber base.To complement our range of our high quality frequency and timing references, Precise Time and Frequency, Inc. has now introduced a new RF, Digital, and Time Code, Auto Switch / Distribution unit to insure you deliver the performance and reliability your customers demand. The ptf 1207A delivers up to eight channels of fully redundant, frequency and timing references to critical applications such as Satellite Communications, Broadcasting, WiMax and others, with NO SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE.The unit accepts two inputs on each channel from separate sources (primary and backup), monitors the inputs for signal integrity, and outputs the primary signal with no degradation of the input. If the primary input on any channel fails, the unit will automatically switch to the backup input and indicate a primary signal fault. The unit will accept up to eight channels simultaneously and independently switch on each channel. The unit also includes full remote monitoring and control via RS232 and Ethernet interfaces.

  • VECTOR-GUN HANDHELD DIRECTION FINDING ANTENNA SYSTEM

    HFDF - National RF, Inc

National RF's Type HFDF active directional antenna system consists of a high gain RF amplifier coupled to a tunable Faraday shielded loop antenna. Several loop antenna assemblies are available to provide coverage of frequencies in the HF and low VHF spectrum. Due to the nature of a Faraday shielded loop, the antenna exhibits a sharp null through the diametric center of the loop. This null is used to determine the direction of incoming radio signals or to locate electrical noise being radiated from some source. The internal high gain amplifier is used to compensate for the inherent inefficiency of the actual loop at the operating frequency. Overall, the system dynamic response is about +6 dB as compared to the dynamic response of a dipole. To aid in the direction finding process on strong signals, an internal 30 DB attenuator is provided. As the loop antenna presents a bi-directional response, tri-angulation may be required to eliminate the ambiguous signal direction. The line of site of the incoming signal is determined by listening for a signal null on the receiver or by watching the receiver’s S-meter.
